It doesn't get much easier than this! We're glad to welcome CloudCompare as an official DPv3 import partner with this latest update (v2.14.alpha). Simply drag and drop (or File/Open) any .DP scan file straight into CloudCompare. "DP compatibility" mode is no longer required with CloudCompare version 2.14 & up, allowing direct import of the latest, most efficient, native .DP point cloud format (DPv3) and making this workflow more seamless than ever. Just drop any scan straight in.

CloudCompare is an open-source software for point cloud editing, 3D meshing, and more. It is currently available for free on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms, offering a wide range of tools for editing, filtering, registration, and other processing tasks.
