Capture and Use Real Time Global Position Data During Scanning

Dot3D now supports the ability to take in and use global positioning data during scanning. By utilizing your iphones internal GPS capabilities, or a more accurate external scanner, you can create reference points for your position on the map during scan time, and embed that data within your scan.

Scan data can be exported with this positioning data to be worked with in other applications. Have your scan be easily and accurately placed on a world map based on the automatically collected positions, for easy visualization and sharing. Additionally, your scans position on the map can be easily viewed within the app, for quick referencing.
