Align & Compare to 3D CAD

This feature allows you to register and compare your Dot3D scans to various 3D object and cad models of the same area/object. External 3D resources can be viewed right along side your Dot3D scan in real time, or be overlapped on top of it for pin point accuracy comparisons between data.

Use surfaces or points in your scan to automatically align your 3D data to your capture. You can then adjust the transparency of your overlayed data and compare the potential differences between real life and your 3D resources. Additionally, you can toggle a deviation map to see a calculated level of difference between your scan and model, that may not be instantly apparent to your eye.
